Not only was our host Mr. Ben really knowledgable about his class, he is really
passionate and kind. He has a hope for the future of Cambodia and you can tell that
in his words and purpose. He naviagted us through a bustling local market, showed
us everything and brought us into his place to show us how to cook. I made Beef
Lok Lak, Banana Rice pudding and fresh spring rolls. I apparently was the only
one to make two of those dishes and he was still accomodating and helpful.
I highly recommend this course if you are looking for some auhentic food and a

4 hours very well spent where you can learn a lot about Cambodian Culture & Cuisine. The class is fun, the food is great & the host are very kind. 24$ may seem like much but you get an unforgivable experience (and a great meal) out of it !

We enjoyed both the cooking class, the food we made as well as the tour of the local market (eating roasted crickets) and learning about Cambodian life and the charity they support. Very worthwhile experience.
Melissa M (Great market tour and cooking class)
My family and I had such a wonderful time learning from Thy and Ben about Cambodian cuisine. We started with the local market tour, which had so many interesting herbs, vegetables and snacks on offer. Thy is very knowledgeable about the produce and patiently explained what the different ingredients can be used for. After the tour, we went to the countryside kitchen and had a truly hands-on experience preparing authentic dishes. Many thanks to Ben for sharing his expertise and providing a fantastic experience. If you're in Siem Reap, and looking for a fun and informative activity (which also supports a great cause), this is a highly recommended cooking class.
